BREAKING: Top Northern APC Leaders Meet With Masari, Ribadu at Presidential Villa

A high-level meeting involving prominent northern politicians of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently underway, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, Ibrahim Masari, and National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, in attendance.

Among the northern political heavyweights reportedly attending the meeting are Senator Aliyu Wamakko, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brigadier-General Buba Marwa (rtd.), former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, former Kano State Governor Ibrahim Shekarau and former Jigawa State Governor Badaru Abubakar.

Other APC stakeholders from the northern region are also said to be part of the meeting.
The purpose of the gathering was not immediately disclosed as of the time of filing this report.

However, the meeting comes amid heightened political activities within the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
