Breaking: Tension over alleged Yoruba-Igbo ethnic clash in Lagos
There is palpable fear in some parts of Lagos State over reports that there is an alleged ethnic clash between people of Yoruba and Igbo origins respectively.
The report which is trending on Twitter alleged that the Igbo indigenes were been attacked for not voting for All Progressives Congress in Lagos State.
But our correspondent gathered residents of areas believed to have voted for the Peoples Democratic Party, both Igbos and Yorubas, were attacked.

chikarito@chiksky02I’m Igbo and I’ve never for once being attacked by any Yoruba person. They’re accommodating. Voting is peaceful here and we even have Igbo candidates on the ballot. For all I care if roles were reversed, I doubt if we’d have Yoruba candidates even contesting in Igbo regions.
