BREAKING: Senate suspends former Leader, Ndume
Former Leader of the 8th Senate, Ali Ndume has been suspended by the Senate, over what the Lawmakers described as “unpaliamentary conducts”.
This is coming barely 5 months after the House of Representatives suspended its esthwhile Chairman, Committee on Appropriations, Hon. Jibril Abdulmumini.
Ndume was removed as Senate Leader at the resumed session, January, 2017, after which Senator Ahmed Lawan was appointed to replace him.
At the plenary of Wednesday, the Senate resolved to place Ndume on 6-months suspension, which is to be calculated, using legislative days.
