Breaking: Senate adjourned sitting for three weeks
The Senate has postponed plenary session till November 6.
The adjournment comes three weeks after the lawmakers resumed from their annual vacation, which lasted for 10 weeks.
Announcing the adjournment, the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, said the adjournment will enable lawmakers to do oversight functions in order to know the level of 2018 Budget implementation by Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
Saraki also added that the lawmakers will have the opportunity to know if the Executives have been able to utilize the Eurobond approved by the National Assembly.
