Breaking: Rivers PDP House of Rep primary: Hon. Chinda Kingsley Ogundu return unopposed
The Chairman House Committee on Public Account, Rep. Kingsley Ogundu, Representing Obio Akpor Federal Constituency of Rivers State has just been return unoppose.
Speaking after his return, Hon. Chinda thanked the people of his constituency, particularly PDP members for believing in him, stressing that it is an opportunity serve his people the more.
“This is the day the Lord has made, and we rejoice and are glad in it. Today, the people have spoken and their voice has been heard resoundingly.
“What we have witnessed today, is one of the essential elements in the electoral cycle in any democracy, the exercise of the collective will over the aspirations of many – the emergence of the candidate of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Pary PDP in forthcoming House of Representatives election in Rivers State come 2019.
“I’m indeed very grateful! My gratitude goes to His Excellency, governor of governors, Nysom Wike for believing in me by giving me another chance to serve my consituency and the state once again. i am promising you sir, that i will betray this mandate given to me”.
