Breaking: Presidency Confirms Imminent Cabinet Reshuffle

The Presidency has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu is set to carry out a cabinet reshuffle soon. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Onanuga noted that while the exact timing is uncertain, it could happen at any moment, though he couldn’t confirm if it would occur before October 1.

President Tinubu appointed his ministers in August last year, but growing calls for a reshuffle have come from both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the public, citing the underperformance of some ministers. A few weeks ago, the President himself hinted at the reshuffle during a meeting with Northern leaders at the State House in Abuja, as reported.
