BREAKING: PENPUSHING MEMBER EMERGES AS 13TH OLOTA OF OTA
A member of Penpushing, a frontline social media,Prince Adeyemi Obalanlege was on Tuesday elected as the 13th traditional ruler of Ota town, Ogun State.
The new king who was a former journalist emerged as the bonafide Olota of Ota after defeating other twenty-one contestants for the throne. The surviving five kingmakers unanimously voted for him, at the election held in the ancient town Ota.
Obalanlege(52), holds a Phd in masscommunication, and is a Sub-Dean, College of Art, Social and Management Sciences at Crescent University, Abeokuta. He was a product of Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, where he studied masscommunication.
The Oba-elect was once Ogun State Correspondent of the defunct Mail Newspapers.
His emergence was announced by the kingmakers at Ado-Odo/Ota local government secretariat in the town. As at the time of filing this report, the new elected monarch was in a meeting the palace.
