Breaking: Obaseki is set `to sack over 5000 aides

There is currently high apprehension in Edo State as Obaseki is set to AXE over 5000 aides on Monday win or lose.

A circular is going round to that effect, according to reports Obaseki who paid them on the 15th of September has made arrangements for their appointments to be terminated immediately after the election.

The Governor earlier in his appointment letter to the EMERGENCY 5000 aides backdated their appointments to 3 months and promised to pay them in arrears and ahead.

The aides where disappointed nevertheless when Obaseki paid only one month salary without a single explanation when the balance payment would be made.

The aides are presently scared and are contemplating a mass resignation in other to gain favour in the camp of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu which opinion polls have placed ahead to win the Saturday gubernatorial polls.

Obaseki is having a running battle with the majority of the people in his State, the masses, market women and even the artisans are very angry on the way Obaseki has alienated them.
