The federal government of Nigeria is mulling the idea of banning all flights from the UK as soon as possible over a new deadlier Covid-19 strain.

It was gathered from sources that Buhari government is not taking chances of a possible transmission of the new dealier and more contagious Covid-19 which has just been discovered in the United Kingdom.

Sources say the federal government through Joint Task Force (JTF) on Covid-19 may release the statement banning all UK flights into Nigerian airspace in order to forestall possible transmission from passengers coming home for yuletide celebrations.
