BREAKING: Jerome Eke of PDP Wins Rivers Rerun
Jerome Eke of the People Democratic Party, PDP, has been declared winner of Saturday’s rerun election for Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency of Rivers State.
Anouncing the result at the commission’s collation center in Okehi, Etche Local Government Area of the state, INEC returning officer for the election, Prof. Olushola Omotayo said Eke emerged winner after polling 15,221 to defeat his closest counterpart from APC, Ogbonna Nwuke who garnered 6,220.
PDP also won the election for Etche Constituency two with 4,210 votes over APC which polled 1,070.
