Breaking: Hate Speeches Now Acts of Terrorism,Osinbajo Declares

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has said henceforth those who speak in tunes that tends to promote hatred among Nigerians would be considered as terrorists.

Osinbajo made this declaration on Thursday at an ongoing National Economic Council retreat on security, holding at the Presidential Villa,Abuja at the moment.

The meeting was convened on the heels of clamours for State Police by some state governors as well as heightened tensions in the polity arising from hate speeches promoted by regional groups within the country.

At the ongoing meeting which Osinbajo is presiding over, top service chiefs in the military, the Inspector General of Police as well as state governors are in attendance.
