BREAKING: DSS arrest Ifeanyi Uba

The Department of State Services, DSS, has arrested Ifeanyi Uba, the owner of Capital Oil.

The main reason is not yet known.

But the businessman had been previously implicated in a fraud saga with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

He was accused of embezzling funds from an illegal sale of crude oil saved in his facility.

This was confirmed by one of Uba’s staff working on a project site in Anambra.

He said news of the arrest was quietly discused by his superiors Thursday morning.

“The news is true. Our bosses wore long faces this morning. They have not said anything to us yet”, our source said.
