Breaking: CBN revoke Skye Bank licence, renamed POLARIS

The central bank governor of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele has announced the take over of Skye Bank of Nigeria and it’s name be changed to POLARIS Bank. The governor said that CBN has injected about 766 billion Naira to the bank. The statement directed the asset management commission of Nigeria to commence the process of sales of Skye Bank  by Monday 24th September 2018.  The statement assured that most of the staff will not lose their jobs. Depositors have also been adviced not to panic,  as according to him, their funds are safe.
