Breaking: Buhari extends lockdown, Kano included, gradual easing begins in May

President Buhari has extended the lockdown imposed on Lagos, Ogun and the FCT Abuja by one week.
Kano has now been included in the lockdown. The measure will be in place for two weeks.
Buhari also announced an overnight curfew from 8pm to 6am nationwide.
“This means all movements will be prohibited during this period except for essential services”, he said in his broadcast on Monday night.
Buhari promised to begin a “phased and gradual easing of lockdown measures” from 4 May.
