Breaking: APGA, LM guber candidates adopt Kaduna PDP’s Kudan
Ahead of March 9 gubernatorial election in Kaduna State, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Liberation Movement (LM) gubernatorial candidates in the state have lined up behind the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Honourable Isa Ashiru Kudan to give him their full support.
The candidates who said they had to forgo their ambition of contesting in the upcoming elections said their decision was in view of the need to liberate the state.
Speaking on behalf of the candidates at a press briefing in Kaduna on Thursday, APGA Gubernatorial Candidate, Honourable Polycarp Gankon, said though their party is still fielding candidates for the State House of Assembly, they are urging their supporters to file out en masse and vote PDP gubernatorial candidate.
According to him, “We have not decamped to PDP, but we are only supporting their candidate to win the polls to liberate the state,” he said.
He explained that they did not hold any meeting with PDP nor were financially induced, but took the decision based on their genuine love for the state and desire to see it progress.
