Breaking: Amosun’s camp split again over new party …as Reps and senatorial aspirants kick against new party

Indications are rife that supporters of incumbent Governor of Ogun state Sen. Ibikunle Amosun will unveil a new party by this weekend.

Indeed it is almost a forgone conclusion that honourable Abiodun Akinlade who lost the All Progressives Congress (APC), National Working Committee organised primary  will fly the flag of the yet to be unveiled party.

However, many of the governor’s suppoters who have already won the party’s ticket may stay put in the APC as they have declined his alleged directive to leave.

Some of his consensus candidates who also did not get the NWC ticket also have refused to move prompting their names being substituted in the new party

As at the time of filling this report, meetings are  said to taking place simultaneously in the three senatorial zones of the state by the governors supporters in their bid to move their supporters to the new party.

The new move is as a result of failure of governor Amosun to sway the party NWC and President Muhammadu Buhari to set aside the election of Prince Dapo Abiodun whose name have been sent to the INEC by the party’s NWC.

Inform sources said that the party to be unveiled may be the Allied Peoples Movement APM as some of the Governor’s supporters have already announced their plan to contest under its aegis.
