Breaking! Again, fire guts Balogun market in Lagos
The Popular Balogun market, Broad Street, on Lagos Island again was on fire at about 01:33am on Thursday, the fire incident started at midnight.
The cause of the fire outbreak could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
No casualty or injury recorded at the scene of the incident .
According to the Permanent Secretary,LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu “The Agency received a distress call concerning the fireoutbreak which happened 1:33am in the midnight at Broad Street, Balogun market, in Lagos, and Shark Team,Lekki Base,other Agency’s LRT alongside, LRU FIRE, LRU AMBULANCE, LASG Fire Service are responders present at the scene, working better together.
“Operation still on going at the Scene of the incident,he said”.
