Boko Haram: Twin Bomb Blasts In University Of Maiduguri Again.

At least two bomb blasts were heard in the University of Maiduguri One went off at about 10.50pm on Thursday, and the other one at about 12am this morning. According to the Student Union Government President, Comrade Abu Hanifa Babati.

The second one occurred around BOT Hostel which is a female hostel.

The first one occurred around the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Our Correspondent gathered that the bomber detonated the bomb when accosted and shot at by soldiers stationed inside the university.

Unconfirmed reports have it that a university security man attached to the female hostel might have lost his life.

It is not yet clear if the suicide bombers are male or female.

It will be recalled that a twin bomb blast went off in the university on the 13 th of this month in which two soldiers and two university security men lost their lives alongside the male suicide bomber.

Meanwhile, security personnel and emergency officials have flooded into the university and the situations looks to be under control.
