BCGS Ladies Division Holds Potluck Party

It was an amazing moment at the Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS) when ladies division took their men counterparts to dinner at the End of Year Potluck Party held at the club house, GRA, Benin City recently.

The day event was heralded with Monday Kitty for members sponsored by the Ladies Division , before the display of various cooking skills and entertainment which climaxed the occasion.

The first ever potluck party was organised by the division under the lady captain Princess Habiibah Oyeghe Oyarekhua, and it received unprecedented support from ladies while men were said to be jostling for space on the queue to have a taste of the mouth watering dishes on display.

Having received full backing of the club management led by the captain, Prince Aghatise Erediauwa, and other members, the captain himself in his magnanimity and passion for the ladies division even provided the DJ to supply music to support the spectacular lady captain with her ladies.

The golf kitty that commenced the event teed-off in the morning while the last tee off was 4.30pm. This was followed by cooking exhibitions by ladies. At the end of the party, everyone was a winner.

Speaking on the party, Princess Oyarekhua
expressed her appreciation to all the ladies and other members for their support thus far.

The lady captain remarked that the turnout at the Potluck was exceptional and frantically surpassed her expectations, being the maiden edition such an event would be hosted by the ladies division in the club.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the event was presentation of various prizes to those who participated in the kitty and cooking event.
