Awiaka, ‘the Unstoppable’ shines at BCGS ladies Monday outing

Princess Nkeiruka Awiaka prowess to win more prizes in the ladies event seems unstoppable as she added another victory at the Benin Club Golf Section (BCGS) Ladies Monday Outing.
Awiaka’s victory happened barely 48 hours after she won the 2019 NNPC Upstream Golf Tournament concluded on Saturday at the BCGS golf course, Benin City, Edo State capital.
The ladies Monday outing was sponsored by Hon. Stephen Idehenre to mark his birthday, and at the nine holes event, Awiaka, ex-lady captain played a net score of 35 to beat lady captain, Princess Habiibah Oyegeh Oyarekhua who played 38 net.
Coming third with 40 net was Debby Otabor, former Vice President, South-South Zone of Lady Golfers Association of Nigeria (LGAN), while Isoken Osagiede placed fourth with 42 net.
However, in the veteran ladies category, it was the turn of Ivie Iyoha to emerge winner with a net score of 40.
Meanwhile, it was another victory for Hon. Osazuwa Ehiorobo as he recorded 41 net to beat Michael Edokpolor who played 48 net in the men’s category.
With this victory, Ehiorobo, the Provost of Hackers 28 Kitty Group has recorded his second victory within 48 hours after he emerged champion in the men’s handicap 19-28 category at the just concluded NNPC Upstream Golf Tournament at the club on Saturday.
The presentation of prizes and cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant, Hon Idehenre and other members was held at the hole 19 arena, while the party lasted with entertainment of guests and others.
