Atiku’s spokesperson bombs PDP, says ” he cannot continue to feed a dead child”

Segun Sowunmi, the spokesperson of the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, has berated the party describing it as a dead child.

Sowunmi who blew hot during a radio programme, Straight Talk on Sweet 107.5 FM on Friday, cursed that woe betides the party the day he bids it farewell.

He said he could not continue to feed a dead child added that he will exit the party but not for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

The political analyst however stressed that he would not leave the party immediately but thinks he might find like minds “who are serious about Nigeria’s issues and join force with them.”

“I am beginning to look at the potential of finding like minds who are serious about this Nigerian issue, and who are not people who easily jump. I haven’t left this party since it started, it’s not because I have been very happy with everything they do there. I’m a very highly opinionated person. I don’t suffer fools gladly. I only stood there to provide as much support and to show that people must be willing to put in the hard work for a long time. But I tell you again, I will never join a process to feed a dead child. If the child is dead, it’s dead.

“The system we have in Nigeria has given us two parties and I’ll look at them. I do not believe that opposition is saying no to everything or writing press releases about everything, I believe opposition is about sweeping your own room before sweeping the street.

“If like minds come together, I will be the first to jump and woe betide the PDP the day I decide to be against them, they will be shocked at the kind of things I will do,“ he said.
