APC threatens legal action against Party member seeking 3rd term tenure for Buhari
The All Progressives Congress has threatened legal action against its party member who sought 3rd term tenure for President Muhammadu Buhari and the Governors.
APC distanced itself from the suit seeking an amendment of the Constitution to allow President Muhammadu Buhari run for a third term in office.
Charles Enya reportedly filed the suit (FHC/AI/CS/90/19) before a federal high court in Abakiliki, Ebonyi State.
The ruling party said the suit filed by Enya, “a self proclaimed” member of the party, was “in bad taste;” describing him as “a busy body with ulterior motives.”
The APC in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Lanre Issa-Onilu, threatened a legal action against Enya, as well as “serious disciplinary action” if truly he was a member of the party
