APC non-NWC breaks into faction
A forum of Non-National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has broken into factions even as the new leadership announced the sack of Nasiru Danu as the former leader of the forum, blueprint reported.
Addressing a press conference at the national Secretariat of APC this morning, the new leaders also called on the party leaders to prevail on the Adams Oshiomhole-led NWC to strictly adhere to the provision of the party’s constitution for the good of all the party members.
The new chairman of the forum, hon. Nelson Alapa and the new secretary Hon. Omoloye O Akintola at the news briefing said: “Finally and conclusively, we are graciously happy that a new leadership of this forum emerged yesterday the 9th of October 2019, under a peaceful atmosphere and the attached shows comprehensive particulars of the new officers of our forum.”
When our correspondent asked whether the former chairman, Danu was sacked because of the recently deportation allegation against him, the new leader said “we have not been briefed about that. Danu’s leadership has been in acting capacity all these while, so we just decided to do the right thing,” Alapa stated. Blueprints
