APC Governorship Candidate Yayi Unveils Four-Storey Campaign Headquarters in Abeokuta
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has inaugurated a modern four-storey campaign headquarters in Abeokuta as preparations intensify for the 2027 governorship election.
The newly commissioned facility is designed to function as the nerve centre of his campaign, housing activities such as strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, volunteer mobilisation, and other campaign operations.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony on Sunday, July 12, 2026, Yayi thanked God and the people of Ogun State for their continued support, describing the building as a symbol of a collective aspiration to deliver a people-oriented government focused on unity, service, and sustainable development.
The APC candidate revealed that construction of the headquarters began two years ago, long before he emerged as the party’s governorship candidate, noting that the project was undertaken in faith despite uncertainty about securing the ticket.
He pledged that, if elected governor, his administration would promote fairness, equity, and balanced development across all parts of the state, stressing that government decisions would always reflect the interests of the people.
According to him, “This campaign headquarters is more than a building; it is a reflection of our collective vision for a better Ogun State. It will serve as a hub where ideas are developed, strategies are shaped, and every part of the state has a voice.
“With God’s help and the support of our people, we will build a government founded on fairness, equity, and justice, ensuring that no community or citizen is left behind in our drive to move Ogun State forward.”
The campaign headquarters was officially commissioned by Ogun APC Chairman, Yemi Sanusi, in the presence of prominent traditional rulers, including the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo; the Olu of Ilaro and Chairman of the Ogun State Traditional Council, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle; the Olubara of Ibara, Oba Jacob Omolade, and other monarchs from across the state.
