APC formally welcomes Taraba Governor Agbu Kefas at Jalingo rally
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally received the Executive Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Agbu Kefas, into the party in a high-profile ceremony held in Jalingo, the state capital.
The event was led by the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, alongside members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC). Also in attendance were Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC governors, leaders of the National Assembly, and other key party stakeholders.

Speaking at the ceremony, party leaders described Governor Kefas’ defection as a major boost for the APC’s political strength in Taraba State and the North-East region. They noted that his entry into the party reflected growing confidence in the APC’s leadership and governance agenda at both national and state levels.
Vice President Shettima welcomed the governor, assuring him of full support from the party leadership, while Professor Yilwatda подчеркed the APC’s commitment to inclusive politics and unity.

Governor Kefas, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the party leadership and supporters, pledging to work with the APC to promote development, peace, and good governance in Taraba State.
