Another PDP lawmaker defects to APC

Another Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, lawmaker, Edward Pwajok, from Plateau State, on Wednesday decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Pwajok, who represents Jos South/East federal constituency’s defection was contained in a letter read by the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara on the floor of the House.

‎The defecting lawmaker cited division in his former party as his reason for defecting.

The governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, was at the plenary to welcome him to the APC.

Lalong revealed that more lawmakers have concluded plans to defect to the APC in no distant time.

He said,”Edward has opened the gate, very soon you will see more of them.

“From the way things are going, before the end of the year, we may not have a substantial minority in Nigeria.”
