Anambra election: Sporadic shootings in all security formations

Barely four days to go on Anambra governorship election, there’s apprehension among the residents of the state with the presence of heavy security agents.

Sources close to the state informed that they could not sleep last night as there were sporadic gun shooting across the security formations in the state capital.

According to our sources, since Monday, they have been afraid of going out, as heavily armed security operatives have taken over every nooks and cranny.

It was learnt that security operative drafted from other states, including Abuja finds it difficult to move around.

“The hotel we are lodging is also heavily guarded. To go out is very risky. Any food you want to eat, if you cannot find it within the hotel forget it”, one of the security agent confined in us.

The Anambra governorship election comes up on Saturday, and IPOB have threatened not to allow it hold.
