Anambra 2021: Atiku, Ayu absent as three Govs storm PDP rally

The former presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu were conspicuously absent at the party’s governorship rally on Tuesday in Awka, Anambra State

But Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo); Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta); Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia); and Edo Deputy Governor Philip Shuaibu attended the rally.

They vowed to deliver the PDP candidate, Valentine Ozigbo on Saturday.

The PDP grand rally was held at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka.

The Chairman of Valentine Ozigbo national campaign Council Ikpeazu told Anambra residents to vote for Ozigbo, describing him as humble and trusted.

He chided Anambra people for being in an alternative political party, saying the cream of Nigeria could not be at the backward.
