All Economic Value Projects Will Be Completed- Gov. Abiodun Assures

Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State has promised citizens in the state that any project either abandoned or ongoing with economic value to the people would be completed by his administration.
Governor Abiodun emphasized this on Wednesday during the laying of asphalt at Panseke-Adigbe road, Abeokuta South local government area, Abeokuta.
The governor, who was at the scene with his cabinet members and top government officials however appealed to the citizens to exercise patience with his administration, adding that the rebranding of the state has started.
Also, he promised to expedite action at ensuring the speedy completion of all abandoned projects in the state.
Abiodun hinted: “I am assuring all the citizens that my administration will make government visibility felt across the three senatorial districts. Several roads projects at various stage of completion is being embarked on simultaneously.
“When the contractor told me that they will be laying the asphalt of the Panseke-Adigbe road today, I told them I will also like to be part of this process and that is why you are seeing me here today.
“Recently, I made a promise to the good people of this state that we will lay the asphalt of this road soonest. Today, I am fulfilling the promise I made.
“Any project that the government uses your tax payers money for will be completed. It is your hard earned money and you must get value for it.
“This is one of the projects that this administration met on ground, and we must finish it because it very important to the people. This road linked from Abeokuta South local government to Obafemi-Owode and furthermore to Ewekoro local government. That shows the significance of the road.
“I have told the contractor to buckle up and he has promised to be laying asphalt every two weeks, because of the rain not to spoil it. It will be done during those period by putting stone base, and asphalt. We are working in Obantoko, Elite road, and many more across the state.”
