Akpabio Celebrates Oluremi Tinubu At 66

….Hails Her Commitment To Better Nigeria

President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on her 66th birthday, praising her contributions to women, children and vulnerable Nigerians.

In a statement personally signed by him on Monday, September 21, 2026, Akpabio described the First Lady as “a remarkable woman” whose life reflects faith, service, sacrifice and strength.

The Senate President said Oluremi Tinubu’s journey from the classroom to public office, the Senate and her current role as First Lady had demonstrated that leadership should be measured by its impact on people’s lives.

According to him, through her compassion for vulnerable Nigerians, advocacy for women and children, and programmes under the Renewed Hope Initiative, the First Lady had continued to contribute to efforts aimed at building a better Nigeria.

Akpabio also commended Oluremi Tinubu as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, saying her grace and strength had supported President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and inspired many Nigerians.

“Your life reflects faith, service, sacrifice and quiet strength. From the classroom to public office, the Senate and the position of First Lady, you have demonstrated that leadership is measured by its impact on people’s lives,” Akpabio said.

He extended the birthday wishes on behalf of the Senate, the National Assembly and his family.

Akpabio prayed for the First Lady to enjoy good health, lasting happiness, divine favour and many more years of purposeful service.
