Again unknown gunmen attack Kajuru, Kachia villages

Two weeks after it was attacked and over 130 people killed, again unknown  Gunmen have reportedly invaded Maro village in Kajuru Local Government of Kaduna razing many houses and injuring many.

Maro was one of the villages that came under attack two weeks ago.

Although the police are yet to confirm the full details of the attack, a source from the village told our correspondent that the armed men numbering over 200 invaded the village early on Tuesday morning wielding dangerous weapons.

There are also reports of attacks in Kachia, however, the details are still sketchy at this time.

Meanwhile,  the Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai has condemned the  renewed attacks in Kajuru  and Kachia

The Governor in a statement through his spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, says the security agencies are working assiduously to contain the situation.
