AfroBasket: Tinubu rewards D’Tigress with national honours, $100,000
President Bola Tinubu has rewarded Nigeria’s female basketball team, D’Tigress, with national awards and generous gifts following their historic fifth consecutive victory at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Championship.
Tinubu declared that each player would receive the Order of the Niger (OON) national honour, $100,000, and a flat as a token of appreciation for their outstanding achievement.
