AFN All Comers National Athletics Championship Holds in Ijebu Ode

All necessary arrangements towards successful organisation of the All Comers National Athletics Championship billed to hold at Gateway International Stadium, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State have been concluded.
The championship being organised by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) will hold from April 4th – 7th, 2019 in the state.
The Secretary General of the federation, Ademu Elijah disclosed this in a letter of invitation sent to the states, clubs and institutions to inform them about the championship.
The scribe noted that the objective of the championship is an open trial to select athletes that will represent Nigeria at the forthcoming 12th All African Games (AAG) billed for Rabat, Morocco from August 15th – 30th, 2019.
He hereby urged states, clubs and institutions with eligible athletes to forward their entries to the federation email on or before April 3rd.
He remarked that the arrival and accreditation will be on April 4th while the commencement of the championship is slated for April 6th – 7th, just as departure date is the following day.
