AEMA set to award young and innovative Africans in South Africa.

The founder of The African Economic Merit Awards McEva Temofe said it is important for Africans to realise that youths in Africa are blessed with potentials , innovation that has not been utilised and rewarded.
He made this Statement at the unveiling of the Africa Economic merit award nominees in Abuja.

e further explained that the AEMA awards is aiming at recognising those youths who have made Africa proud and bring them to the fore for more opportunities that will help them grow and get access to funding for the realisation of their dreams and aspirations.
“AEMA is aimed at awarding entrepreneur and also celebrate and reward recognised NGOs, that has contributed to development of communities through human initiative. This organisation is driven by young Africans to promote innovative ideas of all enterpreneural, economic and social development for Africans as a whole”.
Meanwhile, Senior director of the African development bank Nigeria Ebrima Faal who was represented by the regional procurement coordinator Baba Imoru Abdullahi also said the ADB in one of its interventions is not just focusing on giving access to funding but also creating enabling environment for African youths to realize their potentials to be innovative to create their own enterprise to employ others and be employable.
“ADB is not just to set aside funds, this together with other actors, government, private sector we have to work hard, we had the economic submit group, we had a section where everyone can contribute to be able today give the best today the youths”.
He added also call for a restructuring in the education sector “look at the education stream, we need to look also at the curriculum, is it fit for the market needs? Are we looking at people finishing school and looking for jobs? Everyone going to school should be able to innovate and add value to the economy and what is necessary is to create that enabling environment
The communication and media consultant senator Iroegu disclosed the names of the nominees in their various categories and Reveal that the award ceremony is holding in South Africa by 2019.
