Abeokuta Golf Club Hosts Commissioners Golf Kitty Today

Golfing friends and associates of the newly appointed Commissioners in Ogun State are anticipated to take part at the Special Golf Kitty slated for Abeokuta Golf Club, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, today.

The kitty is organised by the club to commemorate the appointment of these commissioners, who are also golfers and active members of the club over the years.

According to the Captain of the club, Kola Adeneye, he confirmed that no fewer than seventy golfers are anticipated to tee-off at the special kitty, while their friends across the country are also expected to grace the event.

In his words, the Capo noted: “Today’s special golf kitty is for commissioners, and there is going to be another kitty for other government appointees.

“Though, the kitty is an in-house event, but we are not ruling out golfing friends of the commissioners from other golf clubs from Lagos, Ibadan, Ekiti and other states to partake.

“The golf kitty is organised by the club management to commemorate their appointment into the Ogun State cabinet. And as golfers, as well as our members, the club deem it fit to honour them for their new dispensations.

“After today’s kitty, there is going to be another kitty for other state government appointees at the club very soon. There will be lots of prizes to be won at the end of golf event.”
