ABEOCCIMA FLOATS MAGAZINE PUBLICATION
The Abeokuta Chambers of Commerce,Industry,Mines annd Agriculture(NACCIMA) has floated a magazine to further project image and activities of the chambers across the globe.
The official and public presentation of the magazine took place at Chambers headquarters located along Oke-Igbein road,beside Government House Abeokuta,Ogun State Capital.
Presenting the magazine to journalists and other guests, President of Abeokuta Chambers of Commerce,Industry,Mines and Agriculture,Alhaji Wasiu Olaleye said Abeoccima News focus include,Agriculture,Economy,Industry,Interviews,opinion/personality and business tips.
‘The publication focuses on business environment and events in Egbaland,Ogun State and beyond. It also features national and international business information that will add value to our business community’,he stressed
The Editor,Rahman Maku in his speech explained that the publication was in keeping with the cardinal objectives of the chambers.
‘Abeoccima News,to serve as a medium for business advocacy and a platform for information dissemination to members and the business communities in the chamber’s catchment areas and beyond about current developments in the business worlld,especially those happenings that impact the economy of the nation’
‘Thiis intervallic publication is designed to focus mainly on business news,articles and viewpoints that provide education,enlighhtenment and insight on business and economic activities to the readers,while it will also be avenue to create awareness about the programmes and activities of the chamber movement in and outside Nigeria’,Maku stated
The Editorial team also include; Adeyemi Adejola,Temitope Kayode-Adedeji(reporters),Oluyomi Olutoye,Solomon Enilobo,Sherif Olaleye,Samuel Owoyemi and Modinat Adenekan(contributors.
Similarly, he said in another drive and feat of the chambers, it has established a microfinance bank,known as Abestone Microfinance Bank, which has commenced operations and located within the headquarters premises
