When I first saw the image of the man trying to pass a thick rope through the eye of the tiny needle, I felt something instantly.
Because the only difference between me and that man was this:
I had sight… but he had vision.
Vision of who he is.
Vision of what he wants.
Vision of where he is going.
Vision of what he is building.
Vision of who he is becoming.
Though it looked impossible and foolish to think of, he saw what no one else could see, and that is something no one can take away from him.
The ability to see through impossibilities.
The ability to not care about looking stupid before others at the risk of his vision.
Hear this:
It doesn’t matter what others see or what they say.
You are the carrier of your vision.
Just believe.
Those who are shaping the world today once started with nothing but belief.
They believed before the resources came.
They believed before the results showed.
Plants are so reliable and FAITH-full.
They trust in their season, and they do it so consistently well that we humans can’t help but believe in them.
Yet, a human still questions his own abilities.
Still allows his fluctuating emotions to affect his nature.
And sometimes, it affects him so much that it becomes a big deal to consistently be human without self-judgment.
You want people to believe in you and what you do, but there is no track record of your consistency in it.
Consistency builds traction.
Like I would always say, consistency is a business or craft panacea.
It holds the same value as money.
You don’t need capital or resources to believe.
Just begin.
Because if your belief has never been stretched like that man’s reality, then there is really nothing much anyone can do for you.
Your mind is the soil of your dreams. So it matters what you do with it.
Because if you can conceive it, you can achieve it.
But it doesn’t end there. Your dreams could remain just dreams until you believe they can become reality.
Believing is what inspires you to put in the work to get the desired outcome.
While it’s important to dream, the real question is:
Do you truly believe in them?
Dreams without belief are like a vehicle running on an empty tank.
You most likely will not get to your destination.
If the dream is worth something to you, then I think it’s a good reason to believe in it.
Besides, it costs nothing to do so, but its effect is enormous.
