A Peek Into Gorgeous Golding’s Mind™: Declined Invitation To Temptation
EPISODE 018
By Gorgeous Golding™
Yesterday, while I was with some friends, one of them made some flattering comments about how softly I talk and how soft I must be, and all of that, which I didn’t hear.
The person who said it asked the one who was with me if I heard what the other person said. At this point, it didn’t matter who said it. I suddenly wanted to hear what was said and all.

That reminded me.
“Where’s George?” I asked.
The actual person who made the comment immediately burst into laughter. He said he knew George was going to come to my mind.
The others asked why, and he said, “Because George never stops flattering her.”
So now, George is an amazing friend who likes to be naughty sometimes. He’s calmly composed, and yes, he’s cute.
And yes again, George likes me and sweet-talks me in a very mild tone.
So my other friend was asking when last we saw each other, and I said it had been a while.
He said, “But he calls you to see you.”
I said, “Yes, but I don’t ever want to see him or be left alone with him in a secluded place.”
I know the way he looks at me and the way he flatters me in the midst of people. How much more when we are alone together?
He asked, “Does it mean you’re weak?”
I said, “Not at all. But I don’t have to give a foothold to the devil.”
The Bible even tells us to flee from every appearance of evil.
I honestly don’t think I want to wait to experience the kind of things he might tell me in private, one-on-one.
I already know how much I avoid chatting with him or getting too comfortable with him.
So, what am I saying?
Sometimes, we tell ourselves that we’re strong and formidable. Maybe you are. But don’t neglect the devices and strategies of your opponent.
You may have survived a lot in the past, but what if what you’re about to step into is a lot × 10?
My darling, just run.
You can’t test the depth of the sea by putting both feet in.
In the real sense, our weaknesses are often hiding in our strengths. We only mastered how to rebrand them. But behind the rebrand is still the weakness.
So, don’t be ashamed of your weaknesses. Rebrand them.
But while rebranding them, don’t forget that they were once weaknesses from the start. That way, you know the level at which they can serve you, depending on your depth.
