A Peek Into Gorgeous Golding’s Mind™: Being Close Is Not The Same As Being Inside
EPISODE 004
By Gorgeous Golding™
You can’t judge a thing correctly when it’s placed outside of its context.
Alright?

You can’t judge how it feels to own a car by merely being friends with a car owner. Own the car first, then you know.
You can’t judge the depth of a teacher’s knowledge by just being their student. You probably don’t have up to a fraction of their knowledge.
Being close is not the same as being inside.
You can’t judge the feeling of an experience by just witnessing it. Experience it first.
You don’t know what marriage really feels like, no matter the counsel you’ve received, until you’re married.
Also, you can’t base your choices or decisions on another person’s experience.
No two persons are the same.
The person going through the experience matters too.
Their values, principles, and maturity matter too.
Who you really are determines your response and approach to life and situations.
And your response and reaction determine your outcome.
We make the mistake of judging people by closeness, without knowing who they totally are.
No matter how much you think you know a person, you only know them as much as your eyes can see, and even with that, you still can’t know how it feels to be them.
Having this conscious awareness will help you navigate through life with so much consideration and empathy for yourself and others, and with so much appreciation and humility towards life.
Because in reality, you really don’t know as much as you think you know.
Okay?
Thank you for always sticking around.
