2023 Polls: Adesanya-Davies hails Ikenga – CUPP
A frontline politician, Princess Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies, the Presidential Candidate of Mass Action Joint Alliance (MAJA) in the 2019 election, and a PDP female presidential aspirant in the up coming 2023 presidential election hails the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) for their resilience, stride and tenacity towards advancing a very strong and sustainable democracy in the Nation, Nigeria.
Adesanya-Davies commends especially, the unrelenting efforts of the Nigeria Opposition Coalition Spokesperson IKENGA IMO UGOCHINYERE, who received four Presidential Aspirants on the platform of PDP in the persons of His Excellencies, GOV. AMINU TAMBUWAL OF SOKOTO STATE, GOV BALA MOHAMMED OF BAUCHI, FORMER SENATE PRESIDENT BUKOLA SARAKI, AND FORMER BANKER HAYATUDEEN on 12th April, when they arrived in Imo State in continuation of their ongoing consultation visits.
Ikenga, on their arrival, welcomed the Party leaders and held a brief private meeting with them on the 2023 Presidential election and the coming PDP Presidential primaries. He expressed happiness over the ongoing consultations and bridge building, which will help foster unity among Party stakeholders and lead to a less acrimonious contest. He urged the aspirants to continue on the part of political brotherhood already been exhibited.
Before departing for Abia State to meet Gov.Okezie Ikpeazu, the opposition Chieftains expressed their commitment to working together for a PDP win.

We would recall the female presidential hopeful, Adesanya-Davies had stepped down for Atiku just before the 2023 Presidential polls in the arrangements which was known as the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) in 2019, when MAJA, her party, where she emerged as the flag bearer assented to the merger collaboration with CUPP.
CUPP was a coalition of about 52 parties with PDP the oldest Party in the country, taking a lead towards formation of Unity government then in 2019, where Adesanya-Davies had requested Atiku to step down for her, after he Atiku had successfully won as the PDP/CUPP flag bearer in 2019.
Adesanya-Davies adding to the admonitions of IKENGA IMO UGOCHINYERE, The Voice of CUPP, says, “it’s time for PDP/CUPP to return back to power in Nigeria come 2023, in order to give the nation their desired Unity party government with a National outlook once again. It’s time to get Nigeria working again.”
