2019: Buhari assures Nigerians of free, fair polls

President Muhammadu Buhari has restated his commitment to ensuring a free and fair election in 2019.

He says everything will be done to ensure that the results of the 2019 elections reflect the will of the people.

The President gave the assurance on Thursday while receiving a Letter of Credence from the Ambassadors of Finland, France and Czech Republic, to Nigeria at the Presidential Villa.

He said he understands the yearnings of Nigerians and believes in the collective dream for a greater country.

“I respect the people’s feelings. I assure all that we will have a free and fair election next year,” he said.
