2019: Atiku, Duke, Ezekwesili absent as presidential candidates sign peace accord

Presidential candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former Governor of Cross River state and Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Donald Duke, including the candidate of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Obiageli Ezekwesili, were conspicuously absent as stakeholders gathered to append their signatures to a national peace accord ahead of the 2019 general elections.

While the signing ceremony was on with other candidates on ground, neither the PDP nor its presidential candidate was at the event.
