20 Year Old Boy Tortured To Death Over Missing Stepfather’s N90,000

A 20 year old boy resident in Ibafo town,situated in Obafemi-Owode local government of Ogun State has been tortured to death over missing N90,000 said to belong to his step father.
But his reported death has remained conflicting as an eyewitness account said he was tortured to death by the police in the course of interrogation,while police claimed that, the victim was tortured to death by his step father in conjuction with one other person,both said to be on the run as at the time of filing this report
In another contradictory development,an eyewitness said the boy(Rilwan) allegedly stole N20,000 which was later found after his death,but police said he allegedly stole N90,000.
‘ Hello sir, there was a situation in Ibafo in Ogun State at about 8 : 45pm on Sunday 29 Jan. where a young man of 20yrs was killed and buried by a policeman,his uncle and with the knowledge of the mother because of false accusation of 20,000 which was latter found after the death of the young man. The young man Rilwan was locked in a teared gas room by the police’, an eyewitness claimed
However, Abimbola Oyeyemi,Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, when contacted said the story was about the boy,alleged to have stolen N90,000,and consequently tortured to death by his stepfather with another person.
The police spokesman said, the two suspects were still on the run as at the time of filing this report,adding that,the biological mother of the deceased has been arrested.
