2 New Ministers-Designate Will Be Swarn-in Soon- Lai Mohammed

The minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has assured that the country’s two new ministers-designate, Stephen Ocheni and Suleiman Hassan, would be inaugurated in due course.

Ocheni is from Kogi and is to replace the late minister of Satte for Labour, James Ocholi, while Hassan is from Gombe and replaces former minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed who resigned and took up a job as the deputy secretary-general of the United Nations.

Mohammed, gave the assurance that the two ministers-designate would be given their portfolios soon.

Speaking in Abuja after a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, the minister said: “I can assure you that they will be sworn in in due course.”

He did not respond to when they would be inaugurated or what was hindering their swearing in to office.
