Prominent Nigerians, Financial and Security Experts Set to Speak at Realnews 13th Anniversary Lecture
Realnews Magazine and Publications Limited has announced a distinguished lineup of speakers for its 13th Anniversary Lecture Series, scheduled to hold on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, starting at 10:00 a.m.
The high-level panel discussion will explore the theme: “Cybersecurity, Illicit Financial Flows and Achieving Agenda 2063 in Africa.”
Three leading experts in fintech, cybersecurity, and financial intelligence have been confirmed as discussants:

Lasbery Chioma Oludimu (LLM, MCIArb, ACIS)
Vice President, Global Operations / Managing Director, Nigeria, Yellow Card Financial Inc.
Oludimu, an accomplished FinTech and blockchain specialist, oversees operations across 20 African countries and provides strategic leadership in legal, regulatory, and governance matters. A former assistant general counsel and chief data protection officer, she has earned global recognition—including being named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Financial Services 2024 and a nominee for the Women in Tech Global Tech Diplomacy Award.
Dr. Favour Femi-Oyewole
Group Chief Information Security Officer (GCISO) & Data Protection Officer, Access Bank Plc.
A pioneer in cybersecurity and the first African woman to become a Blockchain Certified Professional, Femi-Oyewole boasts over 25 years of experience across IT, cybersecurity, governance, and risk management. Her extensive academic and professional credentials span globally recognised institutions such as Harvard University, MIT, Stanford, Oxford, and Wharton. She previously led enterprise risk and security operations at the Nigerian Stock Exchange and continues to serve on influential cybersecurity advisory councils.
Mr. Abdul Rahman M. Mustapha
Chief Operating Officer, Intelligence & Security Services Support Sector, Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU)
Rahman is a seasoned intelligence and financial policy expert with strong contributions to national security, counter-terrorist financing, and inter-agency coordination. His work at the NFIU, Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), and Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps (NAIC) has advanced Nigeria’s intelligence fusion framework, including initiatives like the Multi-Agency Anti-Kidnap Fusion Cell (MAAKFC). His research and advisory portfolio supports the Ministry of Defence, the Office of the National Security Adviser, and the Presidency’s Security Committee.
Lecture Chair
Realnews previously announced that Justice Ayotunde Phillips, former Chief Judge of Lagos State and former Chairman of LASIEC, will chair the event and moderate the panel session. The Guest Speaker and Keynote Speaker are expected to be announced soon.
