NPFL/La Liga U-15 Promises Tournament:  Enyimba win first game, as Sunshine beat Heartland

Princewill Ikechukwu Eke scored hat-trick to give Enyimba FC U-15 Soccer Team 3/1 victory over Rivers United Team at the ongoing NPFL/La Liga U-15 Promises Tournament on Wednesday.

The Aba boys playing in Benin zone, put up a superlative form against more mature Rivers boys as Eke scored in the first minute of the game while he added another two brilliant goals to record first victory for his team after two loses.

Prior to this game, Sunshine FC youth team continued its winning streak by beating Heartland FC youth team 3/2, and thus placed second on the table with six points from three matches, while Delta Force team lead with same points but on goals difference.

Also, at the Enugu zone, Bendel Insurance FC youth team booked the quarter final place after thrashing FC Ifeanyi Ubah youth team by four nil.

It was another spectacular performance by the Benin arsenal kids who entertained the spectators at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu with beautiful skills, as Osazee Obasuyi, Destiny Oyarekhua and Nwachukwu Christian scored beautiful goals for the Insurers.

Oyarekhua netted the first and second goal of the game in the 13th and 34th minutes of play. Christian Nwachukwu made it three in the 55th minutes while Obasuyi Osazee wrapped it up two minutes before the final whistle.

However, Insurance will be playing their last group game against Akwa Utd on Friday  after Thursday rest.

Meanwhile, another Insurance kid, Fawahis Lamidi was picked by the NPFL/La Liga official, making it the gourth talented player so far picked from the squad.
